Low-Speed Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)

Designed for low-speed environments, this system integrates Ultrasonic Sensor and AI Camera technology to provide precise close-range obstacle detection and intelligent image recognition. It identifies pedestrians, objects, and moving targets in real-time, issuing signals before potential collisions to trigger automatic brake intervention, significantly enhancing safety during low-speed driving and parking.

The Ultrasonic Sensors deliver stable distance measurement, maintaining high detection accuracy even in rain or low-light conditions. Simultaneously, the AI Camera utilizes deep learning algorithms to classify target types, effectively minimizing false positives and unintended system activations. The system’s trigger sensitivity and response logic are highly customizable, making it compatible with various passenger and commercial vehicle platforms.

Whetron’s sensors detect obstacles in both the front and rear of the vehicle. When a driver is distracted or fails to react in time, the detection signals are transmitted to the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU). The unit then issues warnings to alert the driver and, when necessary, proactively intervenes with braking to mitigate collision risks or reduce the severity of an impact.
